United Guarding Services has a control facility located in our Head Office. This facility is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year and is supported by the latest technology. This means you are provided with a comprehensive Help Desk service at all times.

Experience always on hand

The Control Centre is the heart of our company’s operations and provides the initial link between the onsite staff, the different tiers of internal management and our clients.

The facility is staffed by experienced control room operators – all of whom have worked onsite at grassroots level. This means they have a thorough understanding the problems that staff onsite can experience, including lone workers. One of the most important aspects of the Control Centre is ensuring the safety of lone workers through effective monitoring, tracking and response.

No gaps in provision

The Control Centre is responsible for ensuring all contracts are staffed with trained people, scheduling, arranging cover for holidays and training, dealing with alarm responses, emergency situations, remote CCTV monitoring and day-to-day liaison with staff and clients. We are proud of the fact that the majority of our Control Centre staff have been with us for a long time and have an excellent knowledge of our clients’ requirements.

In fact, most of our clients are on first name terms with our Control Centre staff. The organisation and arrangement of the Control Centre means we can operate efficiently and at speed. Without this resource it would be very difficult to coordinate all the company’s activities.
