24 Hour Control Centre

 

United Guarding Services has a control facility located in our Head Office; this facility is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year and is supported by the latest technology which enables us to provide a comprehensive Help Desk service to customers.

This is the heart of our company’s operations and provides the initial link between the staff on site, the different tiers of internal management and our clients. The facility is manned by experienced control room staff members all of whom have worked on site at grass roots level and understand the problems that staff on site can experience, especially lone workers. One of the most important aspects of the control centre is ensuring the safety of lone workers through effective monitoring and response.

On a day to day basis the control room staff are responsible for ensuring all contracts are staffed with trained people, scheduling, arranging cover for holidays and training, dealing with alarm responses, emergency situations, remote CCTV monitoring and day to day liaison with staff and clients. We are proud of the fact that the majority of our control room staff have been with us for a long time and have an excellent knowledge of our client’s requirements; in fact most of our clients are on first name terms with our control staff. Without the support of the control room it would be very difficult to coordinate all the companies’ activities.
